Fine copy in stapled wrappers of a scarce (only 2 institutional holdings located) early undated mercantile catalog. Missoula Mercantile was one of the largest retail and wholesale operations between Seattle and Minneapolis, selling everything from groceries to wagons. Its Kalispell branch was established in 1892; by 1897, the branch employed twenty men and covered a 300-mile sales territory, delivering by train as far as Havre.
