Thousands of brands listed by more or less alphabetical order by brand owner under the county where residing. Overall a good, tight serviceable copy filled with Montana marks and brands information plus interesting advertising information from companies of the late 1890s. This is a very scarce to rare book as there are no copies on World Cat. Currently there are copies at the Montana Historical Association, Missoula Public Library, and an imperfect copy at Montana State University. Even the prestigious 20,000+ book collection at the Texas A & M University's Jeff Dykes Range Livestock Collection has only the 1974 reprint edition, as does the University of Texas.
