Publication: Strahorn-Hutton-Evans Commission Co, 1903, Chicago
First edition. 8 1/2" x 11" typed letter on Strahorn-Hutton-Evans Commission Company letterhead complete with their color trademark in the upper left corner and signed by "A. D. Evans, Secretary." The letter is dated Nov. 25, 1903, and is addressed to Mr. A. J. Davis of Gainesville, Texas. The letter indicates that they are having difficulty collecting money from P. G. Lanham and have been advised by their Fort Worth, Texas manager that it will be necessary to get Lanham in Texas before they can sue him there, and if they can not get him there, then suit will have to be filed in the Territory. They ask Mr. Davis to please find a good lawyer that would look after this matter for them "and will not charge us much to reduce to judgement our claim of $5901.14." A few faint fold creases, else a very good copy.
