Publication: 1950, 1955
One letter dated August 28, 1950, in which Gollancz expresses to Symons how much he enjoyed reading the memoir of his brother. The book was A.J.A. Symons: His Lifa and Speculations [1950]. The second letter is dated January 21, 1955, and Gollancz takes exception to one of Symons' reviews about author John Franklin Bardin. Much of the content of this three-page letter deals the sales record of some books and what Gollancz believes is a good sales number for individual mystery books. Very good copies.
