An exceedingly scarce promotional for automobile travelers and job seekers for the City of Longview. The city, developed by Robert A. Long and the Long-Bell Company contracted real estate developer Jesse Nichols, renowned landscape architect George Kessler, and noted Kansas City urban planner Sydney Herbert Hare to design the new city for high caliber paper works. The city was largely built by 1925 within 2 years from breaking ground. General information on Longview, the Longview Loop, train service, ferries, hotels, buses, the Longview Tourist Park, etc. Photographs show the beautiful Longview Tourist Park, Commerce Ave., the Lower Columbia River Highway, individuals engaged in various activities, hotels, street scenes, etc. Several strip maps of Washington showing highway routes. Center fold, as issued. Light soiling to wrappers and with light wear to spine and folds. Very good.
