Tom Horn, The Earps, The Clantons, Doc Holliday, John Ringo, Curley Bill, Jim Miller, Black Jack Christian, Black Jack Ketchum, Burt Alvord, The Apache Kid, Buckskin Frank Leslie, Luke Short, Joel Fowler, and Texas Jack are among the many about whom Walters relates his accounts. "I have made an honest effort to obtain the real facts surrounding many of the old time gun-men, both good and bad, who practically dominated the destinies of Cochise and surrounding counties of Arizona and Grant County, New Mexido, back in the '80's."
