Each boat used motors each weighing about 18 pounds per horse power and the Sea Sled out performed the other boats with a speed of 57.792 statute miles per hour, which at the time was the World's Record for all displacement boats. The tests were from mile trials sponsored by Fisher Allison Trophy series at Buffalo, New York, Aug. 14, 1921. Lightly soiled, a few tiny chips to the fore edges, and two old folds, else a good copy.
