This is the second publication of Harrison of Paris and it contains seven stories written by Bret Harte. There are seven stencil-colored pochoir illustrations at the head of each chapter and one at the head of the title page by Pierre Falke, a member of the School of Paris artists. These seven stories are among the best of Harte's western fiction and are titled "The Luck of Roaring Camp," "The Outcasts of Poker Flat," "Mr. Thompson's Prodigal," "A Monte Flat Pastoral," "Tennessee's Partner," "Mliss," and "Brown of Calaveras." Spine darkened else a fine, bright copy housed in the good+ original slipcase complete with paper label describing contents and with wear to the bottom edge. Still quite serviceable.
