Although the author is not identified, they provide a detailed account of the issues and circumstances with the White River Utes that preceded the massacre, as well as much information regarding the killing of 9 agency employees, including Nathan C. Meeker, and kidnapped Meeker's wife & child, and another woman, with her 2 children. An interesting account of this tragic event in Colorado history. Issue Very good, internally fine.
