The book is additionally inscribed to the aforementioned literary critic and his wife on the dedication page and is inscribed, "--- but more especially in this instance, for --------------, with my very best wishes! James McClure, Oxford, May 78." With the recipient's neat bookplate on the front paste down sheet, else fine in dust jacket, lightly sunned on the spine, and with light restoration to the spine ends.
