EMERSON HOUGH

Other works by EMERSON HOUGH

Publication: The Outing Publishing Company, 1907, New York

First Edition, First State with rules at top of page V. Pictorial Boards with Cloth spine. xiv, 401pp., illus. Hough wrote many works of fiction and non-fiction, many with a western setting, before he died in 1923. An early classic account of lawlessness in the West. Much misinformation. An attractive clean, tight near fine copy. Two photographs laid-in: one a photo postcard of the "old headquarters of Judge Roy Bean. The other a photograph of a long-haired man standing, in cowboy attire, with a pistol on his right hip. Although the bottom edge has been trimmed, it appears to be the name Eagle Jack written on the negative. Why these photographs are laid-in we are unsure of, but they remain with the book. Protected in custom slipcase.
