[16] pp. Printed in blue-green, yellow & orange. Photo illustrations. Pictorial map on back cover by Routledge. A scarce railway travel brochure illustrating the routes along the Columbia River between Vancouver and Pasco, up the Snake river, and through Eastern Washington towards Spokane. The railroad was jointly owned by the Great Northern Railway and the Northern Pacific Railway, and the photo illustrations within this were taken by the Kiser Bros., Sawyer, Arthur Prentiss, and Hutchins. Routledge was a brilliant PNW commercial artist and cartographer, well known for his splendid aerial birds-eye views and pictorial maps which with great skill made it possible for travelers to visualize the scenic vistas. Light rubbing and with minimal wear to the extremities. Near fine.
