Made into a 1976 movie of the same name starring Charles Bronson as Philip St. Ives, with Harry Guardino and John Houseman. Philip St. Ives is hired by world renown thief Abner Procane to deliver ransom money in order to recover Procane's stolen diaries. St. Ives quickly finds himself stumbling over dead bodies and cops on the make. Scarce title.
