Includes chapters entitled, "The Pioneers of Forty-Nine," which has information on personalities and churches established during the early years of statehood; "The Work of the Women," "The Orient in California," which has good information on both the Chinese and Japanese churches in California; "Presbyterians in Nevada," etc. Small library label affixed to the bottom edge of the spine, lightly rubbed at the spine ends and corners, and a former owner's neat, small label at the bottom of the front cover, else a very good copy.
