Boarder Martin Nelson, 24 years of age in 1885, goes on a killing spree one night, and before he is killed, he claims eight victims. This all took place in the White Mountain community of Bonito City, which was in Lincoln County, New Mexico. In 1900, the Southern Pacific Railroad decided to erect a big dam on the town site, and today it is under 40 to 70 feet of water and known as the Bonito Dam. Former owner's inked name at top of first page else a near fine copy of a scarce item.
