Set in the Isle of Wight where Montrose Arbuthnot and Sir Edmund King, renowned criminal hunters are spending their vacation in the hope of avoiding crime. But their wish is not to be granted as they soon are trying to solve a complex and baffling murder. The front end papers depict the Isle of Wight and a plan of the bungalow where the crime took place. The reader may better visualize the scene and perhaps help to solve the mystery.
