Includes 39 etchings. Beautifully bound in 3/4 maroon morocco with raised bands on spine and gilt lettering. Light rubbing on front board at the spine, as well as to corners, else very good without dust jacket, as issued. The tale of young Nicholas Nickleby as he struggles to seek his fortune in Victorian England. His adventures take place at Dotheboys Hall where Wackford Squeers starves and abuses children under the pretense of education.
