Bruccoli's Raymond Chandler, A Descriptive Bibliography page 21, # A 3.1.d says, "Reprinted 1946 with dust jacket title, The Brasher Doubloon." Pages uniformly browned, else a fine copy in dust jacket with a hint of wear to the foot of the spine. Really the finest copy of this title that we have seen. Attractive dust jacket illustrations from the Fox film, based on THE HIGH WINDOW, which starred George Montgomery as Philip Marlowe. An exceptional copy.
