The Comanche War Trail stretched from Comancheria, in modern northwest Texas, Colorado, Kansas and Oklahoma, deep into Mexico. Robinson 18 says "A brief sketch of this trail appeared in SOME SOUTHWESTERN TRAILS in 1948. This more extended account is a chapter from the author's then forthcoming book on Fort Concho, and was reprinted through the courtesy of Houston Harte and the SAN ANGELO STANDARD TIMES." Small spot on front wrapper, else a near fine copy. Signed presentation on front wrapper by Haley. Very scarce item.
