First edition. 14" x 36" full color movie poster for the 1951 film "The Fat Man." The film starred J. Scott Smart, who also starred as "The Fat Man" in the original radio version of the story. He was also known as Brad Runyan as well as the Fat Man. This movie version introduced the world's famous clown Emmett Kelly in a brief acting debut. The movie also starred Julie London, Rock Hudson, Clinton Sundberg, Jayne Meadows and others. "The Fat Man, a popular radio show during the 1940s and early 1950s, was a detective drama created by (or at least credited to) Dashiell Hammett, author of The Thin Man. It starred J. Scott Smart in the title role, as a detective who started out anonymous but rapidly acquired the name 'Brad Runyon"----- Wikipedia. The colorful poster is neatly folded and will also be shipped folded. It is in fine, bright condition.
