Quarter cloth and pictorial boards, titles in brown on the front cover and gilt on the spine, xii, 241 pp., numerous illustrations by the author. "His first two books, Cowboys North and South and The Drifting Cowboy are high spots, for my money."---Jeff Dykes. Seven stories revolving around the adventures of a lanky cowboy named Bill whose drifting takes him throughout the West as he lives the hard life of working cowboy. Spine ends and covers lightly rubbed, gilt spine lettering slightly tarnished, else a very good copy in a near fine dust jacket that has some minor wear to the extremities. Very much a superior copy of the author's second book. Very uncommon in dust jacket.
