Fine, bright, copy in dust jacket with light wear to head of spine and a small closed tear to bottom edge of front cover that has been internally reinforced with a small piece of cellophane tape. This has created a small discoloration to one spot at the bottom of the front cover. Private detective Lew Archer is hired to find a missing wife who has vanished, apparently of her own free will, only a day into her honeymoon. Archer's investigation soon reveals a deeper, darker story involving two murders 20 years apart. An attractive copy of arguably his finest novel.
