First edition. First edition of the author’s first book, with a reportedly small print run of 1,000 copies aimed at a library sale. A fine, crisp copy in a bright, price-clipped dust jacket, with light professional restoration to the spine ends and corners. Included with this copy is the paperback edition that was issued simultaneously with the hardcover edition. The paperback edition is signed on the title page by the author and is in very good condition. Both copies housed in a custom made clamshell case with titles stamped in gilt on the spine.
