Original Photograph. CDV. Image: 2.125"x3". Mount: 2.5"x4". An image, taken from a slight distance, of two Sioux Indian teepees. There is some light brush and a couple of fallen trees in the foreground, with a small child standing near the logs. An Indian is seated just outside the entrance of one of the teepees. A couple of large trees and some smaller ones are in the background, behind the teepees. A clean, sharp image. The imprint on the back of the mount indicates this Whitney image is from 1866 or 1867. A scarce image.
