And then the story of a horse race that was run in 1938 between a Palomino and a powerful thoroughbred. There was alot of money being bet, and how the race was won is still talked about. Also includes tales about cattle rustlers ... men for whom getting caught was unforgiveable. When caught, their excuses leaving much to be desired. And then there's the tale of a ranchman and his dealings with cattle buyers; and the tale of an encounter between a band of Yaqui Indians and a U.S. border patrolman. Fine in dust jacket.
