First edition. 8vo. Original gray wrappers, 76 pp., prefatory remarks. Basically a disagreement among the Canadian citizens with regard to the adopted route and construction of that portion of the Canadian Pacific Railway which traverses the Rocky Mountain and Cascade zones and terminates at Barrard Inlet. The Cascade area provides severe impediments to completion of the coast-to-coast railway. Peel 536 says "Arguments favoring a northern route and a northern terminus in British Columbia." Light soiling to wrappers and with chipping to fore edges and spine as well as light creasing to corners of both wrappers. Very good.
