A well-illustrated promotional booklet advertising California's popular scenic attractions and tours, with emphasis on Southern California. Includes Henry's trip to Yosemite Valley and the Mariposa Grove of Big Trees. Brief travelogues spiced with early twentieth-century humor of the traveling salesman variety. "'Be sure and take the Big Tree Trip on your way out of the valley,' says a man I met in camp. 'I came in that way. The folders say it's great.' 'Why do you take the folder's word for it when you went over the trip yourself?' says I. 'Well,' says he, 'I met [a] blonde on the stage and I had to read up on the folder when the trip was over to find out what I should have seen.' We took the man's advice and started one morning on the big tree trip" (p. 11). Light tanning to pages along with Light wear and chipping to over-sized wrappers. Very good.
