9" x 14-1/2" large sheet folded to 8 colorful panels. Two panels show an illustration of the ship "DE AYALA entering San Francisco Bay 1775." Two center panels are of the Hotel Plaza and of the Portola Festival. "The 1909 San Francisco Portola Festival, was in honor of Don Gaspar de Portola, the discoverer of San Francisco Bay and first Governor of California. It also was a celebration of the city's rise from the ruins of the 1906 earthquake and fire." Information pertaining to the Hotel Plaza such as its' location to many wonderful places such as Chinatown, The Presidio, Golden Gate park, the famous Cliff House overlooking Seal Rocks and more. Two panels are a map showing the famous attractions such as theatres, restaurants, art galleries, et. al. The yellow map is approximately 4-1/2" x 6-1/2" with street names and locations in black. Red dots mark principal theatres. Minute wear at folds else a nice copy.
