Very good in lightly rubbed dust jacket with a small old water stain to bottom edge of the spine and faintly visible. A great star of silent pictures who had married and divorced five husbands, is found dead. Her name was Rose, but the gardener found the body next to the lily pond. A surprisingly funny mystery novel that does not sacrifice either realism or taste to provide a fine psychological story.
