Publication: Privately printed, nd ca 1926, N P
First edition. 8vo. Original stapled and string-tied tan printed wrappers, [2], 38 pp., frontispiece [portrait], illustrated, plates, portraits. This is the rare first edition of this title appearing one year before the much revised second edition published in 1927. The second edition is a very scarce item today. A book that really is an appreciation of Theodore Roosevelt as a man, as Colonel, as Vice President, as President, and as a lover of Wyoming, its people, and the ranching community. Also contains information about his ranching activities, including his 60-mile ride to Cheyenne, and information on "The Cheyenne Club." His visits to Wyoming are detailed with many sketches of his visit by many people. There are numerous newspaper addresses made by Roosevelt and reprinted here. Herd 674 says, "Scarce." (Second Edition). Very good copy. Probably rare today.
