Publication: Western Reflections Publishing Company, 2006, Montrose
First edition. 8vo. Color pictorial wrappers, [8], 135 [1] pp., acknowledgments, introduction, illustrated from photographs, bibliography. This book spans a time period from the late 1870s until present day and explores the lives of bona-fide women ranchers, many of whom have gone unrecognized in the annals of Colorado's sheep and cattle industries. The biographies are from women from many different parts of the state of Colorado and some were fairly well known, almost legends, and some were obscure ranchers. They often accomplished feats that far exceeded anyone's expectations. As new, unread copy of a very interesting and easily read book.
