A detailed account of a tornado and its aftermath that touched down in Huron of the then Dakota Territories with four terrific illustrations. Another tornado touched down that same day in Howard when the first known photograph of a tornado was recorded. Wrappers lightly soiled along with light chipping to edges and to spine. Rear wrapper is partially detached but still holding along with one illustration beginning to split but still holding. Very good.
