Publication: Rinehart & Company, Inc, 1948, New York
First edition. A fine, bright, square copy in bright dust jacket, lightly sunned on the spine and with light professional restoration to the spine ends, corners and extremities. Contains the required publisher's initial at the bottom of the copyright page. Johnny Marr is grief-stricken because of the death of the girl he loved. He wants to extract revenge for her death and he does so in a way that costs five people their lives. In our opinion, perhaps Woolrich's finest tale in the "Black" series of books. An attractive copy.
