First edition. This 18” x 23” poster is in perfect condition and signed as by Maxwell Grant and Walter B. Gibson. Grant, the pseudonym of Walter B. Gibson, is most famous for having created the Shadow. He also ghost-wrote books for most of the greatest magicians of the first half of the 20th century. He created another pulp crime fighter in Norgil. The earliest stories in the series were collected and published as Norgil the Magician by the Mysterious Press in 1977. The famous illustrator Jim Steranko was commissioned to paint the cover illustration. It was so striking that a poster was created. Matted and framed.
