Original manuscript broad sheet dated May 30, 1829, at Villa de Salinas, Victoria, Nuevo Leon, Northern Mexico. Seven brands for stray livestock are illustrated. The strays have been found and a description of each animal provided, plus where on the animal the brand was applied. Signed and with small pin holes at each corner where document was posted, else a fine copy. Documentation of borderland brands during this early time period is extremely difficult to locate. Scarce to rare.
