Written as a journal, the author gives much information about her travels in Alaska before the Gold Rush of 1897. Chapters on "Mount Shasta and the Pass of Siskiyou", "Mount Hood, Mount Tacoma, and Puget Sound", "Victoria and Nanaimo, B. C., to Fort Tongas, Alaska", "From Dixon's Entrance to Juneau", "Sitka, Juneau and Douglas Island", "Return to Tacoma." Light wear to the spine ends and corners else a very good copy.
