8 3/4" x 6 1/4" photograph of May Lillie, wife of Gordon W. Lillie also known as Pawnee Bill. May Lillie billed as "the greatest Lady Horseback Rifle-shot of the World," May traveled the country with her husband's show and was one of the first women to perform as an equestrian and shooter in American Wild West shows. In this picture she is young (24 years old) and is posed in her outfit holding a Winchester carbine. Light wear to the edges, else a very good copy.
