Pictures are in corner mounts with manuscript identifications next to most photographs. Album contains a mix of commercial (Sanborn, Kolb, etc.) and vernacular shots of various sites. Stops include the Grand Canyon, the Garden of the Gods, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Banff, the Painted Desert, Pikes Peak, Colorado Springs, Santa Fe, Oregon, Alberta, Santa Cruz, Oregon, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Del Monte, Mt. Hood, Bonneville Dam, the Columbia River Road, Stanley Park, etc. In addition to scenery there are pictures of various points of interest, Indians, Canadian Mounted Police, photographs of fellow travelers, etc. There are several pictures of the Grand Canyon, Seattle, Colorado Springs, Banff, Alberta, and the Del Monte area. Chipping to edges of some pages along with brad missing from spine of wooden boards. Pages fragile at spine. A wonderful collection of various areas in the west.
