The album depicts a broad range of the cavalry unit’s activities, including a large selection of images from life in camp, various camp structures such as bivouacs, mess tents, horse corrals, and living quarters. It also shows the men in training and on operations, in mounted drills and patrols, assembling in military automobiles and trucks, and herding cattle, among other activities. There are several images of the unit in transport, both as part of a wagon train, and by railroad, in train cars graffiti-ed with pictures of American soldiers chasing Mexican bandits. Light wear to cloth and hinges, corners bumped.
