A proposal before the House for pensions to be paid to survivors of certain Indian wars from 1865-1891. Pages 8-32 present "Historical Resume of Certain Indian Campaigns", written by Capt. S. J. B. Schindel, General Staff. A very interesting, and surprisingly detailed account of numerous campaigns, battles, and wars fought with various Indian tribes between 1865 and 1882. Bibliographies of Dustin and O'Keefe reference a 1916 printing. We offer the earlier printing of 1914. Some rusting to staples, else a near fine copy of this rare printing.
