The property is described to include nearly 400 acres of water front forest. At one time, this was a private camp for the Carnegie family. Activities provided at North Point Inn include golf, tennis, water sports, fishing, horseback riding. Raquette Lake is approximately 300 miles from New York City by train or automobile. The Inn is very accommodating to their guests by providing Pullman service direct to the lake and two trains daily over the New York Central. Their motor boats meet all trains.
