First edition. Author's second mystery novel. He actually wrote three mystery novels in total, but interestingly the first two were published in 1939 and 1940, and the third was published in 1951. A few light scratches to the front cover, else a near fine copy in lightly rubbed dust jacket with minor wear to spine ends, and a small closed tear to bottom edge of rear panel. Story is set in Ohio and features John and Anne Webb to solve a fast-paced murder mystery.
