Foreword by Tony Hillerman. Introduction by Ernie Bulow. Also accompanying this copy is original color artwork by Ernest Franklin. This drawing appears in black and white on page 180 of the book and depicts a woman weaving. The original color artwork is attractively matted and framed. The image size also with a white border is 8 1/2" x 6 1/2." Matted and framed the size is 11" x 9 1/2." The book, while presented in a humorous format, provides a wealth of information regarding Navajo taboos. Advice and thoughts are provided for personal behavior, pregnancy, babies, lightning, food and cooking, weaving, hunting, ceremonies, and much more. The book is in as new, unread condition and housed in the original matching slipcase with title and design stamped in gilt on the front cover. The accompanying original artwork is in as new condition and is tastefully matted and framed, signed by Ernest Franklin and available for permanent display.
