A copy of the first Dobie item printed by his friend Carl Hertzog about the life and fine writing of Eugene Manlove Rhodes. Lowman 46 says: "This simple and unadorned pamphlet is a complete resetting, 'with a few corrections and emendations,' of Dobie's introduction to The Little World Waddies. Printed in an edition of 600 copies, it was sent by the Dobies as a Christmas greeting in 1947. The tailpiece drawing is by Harold Bugbee." As new, unread copy.
