First edition. PBO. Graphic 46. Very good in pictorial wrappers. At the request of his wife Stella, PI Blake grudgingly resigned from the firm of Bricker and Blake: Investigators ... too bad it had to be in the middle of the tough Arrenhower job. But Stella was worth it. Burdened with candy and flowers, a sort of reconciliation gift, Blake opened his door and into a nightmare. The room was in shambles. There was Stella, battered and bloody, sprawled on a chair. She had been brutally bludgeoned to death. Blake is determined to find her killer.
