Publication: Molina et Cie, 1936, Havana
First edition. 7" x 5" original pictorial wrappers, that houses a map of Havana, that unfolds to approximately 18" x 29." Scarce issue of this map of Havana, also published with the Blue Guide to Cuba, which began annual publication in the mid-1930s. The present work was issued to be distributed by the Hotel Presidente, illustrations and advertisements for which are printed on the wrappers. The hotel opened in 1928, and still operates today. The map depicts the street grid of central Havana, with small illustrations of attractions and hotels. An inset delineates the western portions of the city. An attractive example; we locate one copy in U.S. institutions, at University of California / Santa Cruz. Lower corners of wrappers chipped and bottom portion of the spine starting, a few short separations along fold lines, else about very good.
