Presented here are copies of orders, correspondence, reports of councils with Indians by military and civil officers of the government in possession of the Interior and War Departments, relating to difficulties with the Cheyenne, Comanche, Arapaho, Apache, and Kiowa tribes of Indians, during the year 1867, &c.. Much attention is given to Custer's attack on the village of Black Kettle on the Washita River in November, 1868. Mild damp staining across the blank margin at the top edge of almost all pages and some light sunning to spine. Very Good.
