A brochure touting the resources and advantages of South Dakota in order to entice businesses and settlers to the area. 24 panels of information about South Dakota to include general information about the Artesian Basin, gold, agriculture and stock, weather, railroads, homes, occupations, values of various products for 1907, railroads, etc. Opposite side offers a 17" x 21" map of South Dakota, by E. Frank Peterson of Lake Andes, SD, is printed in red and black and shows counties of the state, Indian Reservations, cities, rivers, etc. The early 1900s saw significant westward expansion and settlement, with land companies playing a key role in attracting new settlers to South Dakota. Small holes at some folds, with light soiling and wear to the extremities of folder. Still Very good. Rare.
