Publication: Privately published for LeRoy Condie, 1984, Albuquerque
First edition. Quarto. Signed by the author. Stiff pictorial wrappers, 20 pp., maps, illustrated, author's note. Privately printed memoirs of a cattle drive from St. George, Utah to the Schmutz Brothers' Tuweap Ranch on the Arizona strip in an early decade of the 20th century. The author tells of the small adventures that happened along the way, as remembered by a little boy who had the good fortune to be invited by the Schmutz Brothers to ride along on the journey and help drive the cattle. Laid-in are five typed and signed letters by the author whereby he provides much insight to the eventual publication of this booklet. Also included is a map of the trip, a newspaper clipping from the Marquee Spectrum, St. George, Utah, dated Sunday, September 9, 1984, about the author and the publication of this book, and an eighteen-page typed letter of a trip the author and his wife took to Mexico in October, 1980, which reveals much of Mormon history. As new, unread copy.
