First edition. 8vo. Senate Document No. 61, 51st Congress, 2nd Session, February, 1891. Two pages, disbound. A proposal is submitted from the government for an agent to be sent to the Indian agencies in the West in order to interview the returned students from the Carlisle Indian School and to locate their current whereabouts. The school responded by saying they did not have either the money or the manpower to accomplish this task and said it would take two clerks to be hired at $75.00 / month for each, plus $1000.00 for travel expenses. The school requests the government to approve this expenditure. Very good copy.
